B&T APC9 Pro | Swiss Precision in 9mm?

The B&T APC9 Pro is a beautiful example of Swiss engineering precision in the form of a premium 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine. The APC9k gained significant popularity after being selected as the U.S. Army's next Submachine gun after winning the Sub Compact Weapon (SCW) contract in April of 2019. Since then the levels of interest in civilian legal semi-automatic 9mm APC9, APC9k and APC9 Pro have greatly increased, and for good reason - it is an exceptionally crafted firearm that offers incredible reliability and a premium shooting experience.

B&T (Brügger & Thomet) really knocked it out of the park with the APC9 Pro - it features fully modern ambidextrous controls, with a light, compact and handy design. The quality of the machining work is absolutely on another level from its competitors. There's some impressive innovation too - the APC9 Pro's upper receiver is the serialized part, which allows the polymer lower receiver to be swapped out without needing to fill out any paperwork, and giving the end user the option to choose either Glock 17, Sig P320 or the original B&T magazines. Add to that the reliability of a direct blowback action and the impressively effective hydraulic buffer system to soften the recoil impulse, and it's easy to understand why the U.S. Army selected the B&T APC9k for their SCW contract.

In this video we had a great day at the range with the B&T APC 9 Pro. We fired 260 rounds both unsuppressed and suppressed with the Dead Air Wolfman in short configuration. The DA Wolfman is a fantastic suppressor for 9mm PCCs and does a great job on the B&T APC9 Pro. While it is not as quiet as the MP5 or MPX, it's also not that far behind either. We've also never experienced blowback in the APC9 while running it suppressed, which is great.
