Japan Trip Day 6 (Final Day) | 2 Jan 2026 - Returning Day Back to Cambodia

Today is our last day in Tokyo, Japan! We’re getting ready to pack up, check out at 11:00 am, and grab two separate taxis via Uber and DiDi. The ride from the hotel to Shinjuku station costs about 37 USD. Once we arrive, we’ll meet up and head to the station office to get all the details and directions for the Narita Express Train. We’re aiming to catch it for our next trip to Narita Airport Terminal 1 at 3 pm. The station is quite busy, so we’ll need to be well-organized to make sure we get on the train on time. Around 2 pm, we’ll start walking through the station to our platform (number 5 or 6). We’ll wait about 5 minutes to board the train. We’ve reserved seats for our tickets, which we bought through the Klook app for about 800 THB per person (adults and kids are the same price, as it’s a green car or first-class option, as you can see in the video). Once we arrive at the airport, we’ll head to the check-in counter. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed from 8:00 pm to 9:50 pm because the plane from Cambodia arrived late, and there was heavy, slow falling in the airport area. The delay was extended until midnight, but we were able to depart from Tokyo. We slept on the airplane, but it wasn’t a full night’s sleep because we had to stop in Fuzhou, China, for transit. Around 7 am the next day, we arrived in Cambodia, KT airport safe and sound.
