Our attenuator trucks - or as we call them, the Road Warriors - are some of the most valuable equipment we have. While they're great for hauling a lot of different items we use for road work and traffic control, even more importantly, they've been responsible for preventing countless tragedies in work zones. We set them up as a barrier between traffic and road crews and you've likely read many of our posts where the only thing between serious injury or worse in a collision was the Road Warrior. So for Work Zone Safety Awareness Month, we thought we'd give you a tour of just what a Road Warrior does.
