Of course the idea of building a snare drum is not our original and of course we are not the first to try to do that. We wanted to see if we could do it and if it is really as simple as we can see in many videos.
The tools we work with are not professional carpentry tools and most home workshops have them. That's what we want. We want to share the crafting and the learning experience with you, so maybe you'll try it yourself or get an idea for something else.
In any case, we have a good time, and if we give you some fun along the way ... that's our win.

Enjoy the first part - we make snare drum corpus from old fence battens that have been lying in the workshop for years. In the first part, we deal only with the rough construction of the body, and in the following episodes we will show the fine processing.
