This is an assembly of the five Day 1,2,3,4,5 videos that are here on YouTube. This version is all five days of the class, and plays back slower.
Background: A Lazze Metal Shaping student from the past had a dream to build a boat tail Auburn Speedster.
Over time, he had accumulated a full size buck, chassis, running gear, sheet metal from the firewall forward, and other parts and pieces. This was a 'Special,' Step 2 class with two other past students. None of the three students involved are in the metal shaping industry.
With a few simple techniques and some training, you too can build your dream car.
The entire build that you see here took five days. As you can see there is still much work to do, but to go from flat sheet, to a car body that has shape in five 8-9 hour days is extraordinary. Current status of the project is not known, but one day I'm sure it will drive to my shop.
