Pauli is a Dada Saheb Phalke award-winning film that highlights how long-run traditions/superstitions/culture can sometimes become a restriction to the overall growth of a community and its members. The short film beautifully touches on the emotional aspects of a single mother & daughter relationship, and the extent to which a parent can go to keep their child happy.

Pauli is the daughter of Savitri - a single mother, who both live in a remote village away from modern technology and development. While modern comfort is a dream, the village lacks the basic necessities of education, healthcare, and connectivity itself. In this world where everything seems still far away, will Pauli be able to bring a change with her small wish?
