WWE WrestleMania 27: CM Punk vs Randy Orton (WWE '12)

Back in 2008, CM Punk was in the middle of his first reign as World Heavyweight Champion when he entered the event known as Unforgiven. Scheduled to defend his title in RAW's Championship Scramble match, Punk was attacked backstage by an injured Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Manu, and Ted DiBiase Jr. The attack left Punk out of commission, and the title was made vacant with a new champion being crowned that same night.

Fast forward to 2011, CM Punk was the leader of the New Nexus, as he had ousted Wade Barrett and those still loyal to him (Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel). Imposing a reign of terror on Monday Night RAW, Punk set his sights on Randy Orton after the Viper pinned him inside the RAW elimination chamber match in February. Assaulting Orton in front of his wife, Punk made it clear that it was his time to shine. However, what CM Punk didn't count on was Randy Orton seeking revenge.

One by one, Randy Orton took each of the New Nexus member's out of commission. Huskey Harris (Bray Wyatt), Michael McGillicutty (Curtis Axel), David Otunga, and Mason Ryan all fell victim to the vicious punt kick, leaving CM Punk to fend for himself at the Show of Shows. Could Randy Orton earn his revenge at WrestleMania 27, or would CM Punk defy the odds and secure a win on an injured Viper?
