On June 2000, Eminem was arrested during an altercation with Douglas Dail at a car-audio store after he pulled out a gun and aiming it towards the ground. The next day, he was arrested again after assaulting a bouncer, John Guerrera, when he saw him kissing his wife at the Hot Rocks Cafe parking lot. Eminem plead guilty and was given a two year probation in court for gun possession and assault. However, as part of the plea agreement, the assault charge was dropped and the case was settled.
“The Kiss” and “Soldier” are the sixth and seventh tracks on The Eminem Show and is a reenactment of the rapper’s 2000 arrest. The outro of “Soldier” can be heard in “Till I Collapse” and “Mosh”.
