Mysterivm Xarxes - In the White Static Of The Liminal Void (album, 2025) [raw black metal]

A new album of cosmic hungering from the ravenous Mysterivm Xarxes – an Austrian one man band who has been forging spiritually ignited obsidian Starfire since 2023, and has never delivered anything less than all-consuming.

This new one is suitably titled In the White Static Of The Liminal Void, and delivers over half an hour of terrifying unrelenting raw energies and an ebbing coda of samples and dark ambient that bleeds the album off into the distant dark in intoxicating fashion.

I also want to give him a special shout out and thanks for sending me a package in the Summer, which unfortunately never reached me, and strangely, the same time as someone else sent me a parcel that didn’t get delivered either. I smell shenanigans. So, besides the coruscating sonic manifestations, he’s also a real one for that, and I am sorry I didn’t get it.
