When looking for mounting options for my Ed Fong J-Pole UHV/VHF antenna (which is constructed inside a 3/4" PVC pipe) I found this bracket that comes in a two pack for $20. The upright pipe is perfectly sized to fit the bottom of the PVC pipe into, and a ring of hot glue fixes and seals it in place.
I wish it was stainless instead of painted steel, but I do have a spare that I can swap out in 5-10 years if corrosion becomes an issue.
