Volleyball block or drop? A great blocker is great at making good decisions for volleyball blocking at the net. There are situations where the blocker needs to drop back to help out with volleyball defense. This involves a combination of reading the volleyball setter and attacker on the opposite side of the net. Good beach volleyball blocking isn't just successful blocks, but also good decisions for helping out teammates. Dropping back or pulling off the net are important beach volleyball blocking skills that all blockers need to practice.
