Epic JR Train Journey: Matsuyama to Kanazawa! Shinkansen | Thunderbird | Japan Rail | thisNatasha

We need to get from the farthest west city in Shikoku (Matsuyama) all the way to Kanazawa in one day! It's a 600km journey crossing the Seto Inland Sea via the Great Seto Bridge and passing through Okayama and Kyoto Stations. We start off with a train called "Shiokaze" from Matsuyama JR Station, change at Okayama to the bullet train (Shinkansen) and then finally get a Thunderbird from Kyoto Station past Lake Biwa all the way to Kanazawa!
