Step by step assembly of what became a great PartsCaster (a modified Stratocaster type guitar). Using a wiring diagram from Seymour Duncan's website for a two humbucker 50s style pickup set, Gibson Les Paul wiring with two volume pots, one shared tone pot and a three way switch.
Challenges: Fitting the neck and adjusting angle, action, intonation and adding a Shim.
Pitfalls: Not getting the wiring to work as intended
Solutions: Troubleshooting the wiring of the electronics to find the culprits
Pickups: Two Gibson Burstbuckers (1 and 2)
Electronics: 500k potentiometers (two volume, one tone), .0047 tone capacitor
Body wood: Alder
Neck: Unknown brand and neck wood, with Rosewood fretboard
Vintage style tremolo system
Vintage style Fender tuners
Strings: D'addario 011 - 048
