Hobbywing Fusion Pro in TRX4 with 15 tooth pinion

Throwing in the 2300kv brushless motor setup into my TRX4 did not do much differently than the stock top speed. Sure, its crawling capabilities were enhanced but I went from a 5 mph top speed in low gear and a 12 mph top speed in high gear on a brushed 3S XL5 setup to pretty much the same thing on a 3S brushless setup with the Fusion Pro.
Swapping in a 15 tooth pinion gear to replace the 11 tooth stock pinion gear has gotten me to where I wanted to be. Initially, I was tossing the idea of getting the MJX H8H Defender because I loved its 17 mph top speed and crawling capabilities but it was just too huge and the TRX4 was just too slow but I’m glad I was able to remedy that!
I’m loving this Defender even more now!
