This month’s 11 in 11 talk features Dr Jens Kleinefeld. Jens is specialised in Anaesthesia, Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine. Jens has a special interest in the prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death in football and is an educator for both UEFA and FIFA. Over the past decade he has also worked extensively as a doping control officer (DCO) for several national and international sport associations. He has been a FIFA Medical Officer at a number of World Cup competitions including the recent FIFA World Cup in Russia. He was also the Chief Medical Officer for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup competition.
