Dio price for its variant - Dio Standard starts at Rs. 97,727. The price for the other variants - Dio Standard - OBD 2B, Dio Deluxe, Dio H-Smart and Dio Deluxe - OBD 2B are Rs. 1,02,075, Rs. 1,02,911, Rs. 1,03,476 and Rs. 1,14,969. The mentioned Dio prices are the on-road price of Pathanamthitta.

Honda Dio is a scooter available in 5 variants and 11 colours. The Honda Dio is powered by 109.51cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 7.75 bhp and a torque of 9.03 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, Honda Dio comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Dio scooter weighs 105 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 liters.
Honda has introduced the new Dio in two variants including standard and deluxe and has given it a host of updates to set it apart from the previous version. To start with, the sporty styling of the scooter have become edgier now with a redesigned headlamp, position lamp and tail lamp along with sharper contours across its bodywork.

It also been adorned with funkier graphics and a split grab rail at the rear. The new Dio also gets added features such as an ACG silent starter, side stand engine inhibitor, external fuel filler cap, dual function switch integrating seat and fuel lid opener, front pocket and a new DC LED headlamp. Interestingly, it also retains the fully-digital instrument cluster with more information such as fuel range, average fuel efficiency and real-time fuel efficiency.
Now, making it compliant with the new BS6 emissions norms is a reworked 109.19cc engine which now gets Honda’s programmed fuel-injection, in place of the previous carbureted set up. Coming to the cycle parts, the 10-inch wheel and trailing-link suspension of the outgoing model have made way for a 12-inch wheel with telescopic forks, similar to the Activa 6G. The rear continues to ride on a 10-inch wheel suspended by a monoshock. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both ends, assisted by combined braking system. To give it more stability, Honda has also marginally increased the wheelbase of the Dio.

Honda is offering the Dio in four colour options including blue, red, orange and grey. Apart from these basic colours, buyers can also opt for the new Repsol edition which sports bold graphics inspired by Honda’s Repsol racing bikes.
