This video shows the machining of an automotive headlight mold made on a GF Mikron HSM 400U using cutters by Union Tool. The surface quality is excellent thanks to the High Precision Surface Mode in hyperMILL. Barrel cutters with all their advantages have also been used on this part to ensure large stepdown, a fast machining time as well as superb surface finishes.
