On the 28th of July 2025, Class 37 37516 Loch Laidon takes 45627 Sierra Leone and 35018 British India Line from Carnforth Steamtown to Derby Litchurch for the Greatest Gathering show this coming weekend. I find this move particularly ironic when you consider WCR'S current situation regarding Steam Locomotives and upcoming rail tours.
. 34067 hasn't been in weeks.
. 45212 has failed on two railtours in the last week
. 60163 Tornado is rumoured to no longer be working for WCR
. The coaching situation is still ongoing, leaving 46115, 35018, 45699 and 48151 unable to haul MK2's, thus no railtours unless Diesel hauled or 44871 does them which i believe is in Scotland doing the Jacobite railtours with 45407. It's not a good look.
