Humberly opened up about growing up in Venezuela, having a crush on her best friend, launching her acting career, and exploring her sexuality through her characters (including Sophie Sanchez, of course). We also talked about queer and Latina representation in the media and how the characters that Humberly plays are breaking the mould. We are so grateful to Humberly for being so vulnerable with us and opening up about our journey, we really enjoyed this conversation.
