If you want to sound the most natural in American English, you need to make sure you are using the correct intonation pattern. American English intonation has rising, falling, and wavering tones--each has a specific function and conveys different information to your listener. Use the wrong one, and you could express a completely different message than you intend! Let's practice hearing and producing them.
