I fell out of love with mountain biking because I was chasing the wrong thing... parts, Strava times, etc. To rekindle my love, I turned back the clock to when I first started. I rebuild an old REI Coop bike to see if it can be as fun as my long-travel enduro mountain bike. It really comes down to the type of trail each bike is on, but this short-travel bike unlocked more fun on mellow trails than an enduro bike can.
