American Airlines Airbus A321neo (A321NX) Cabin Tour

Hello, all! Thank you so much for watching this video! Yesterday, I was fortunate to fly on a brand new American Airlines Airbus A321neo (A321NX). This aircraft was registered N402AN, and was delivered on May 17, 2019. This aircraft entered service on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, and I flew this aircraft on Saturday, June 8, 2019! My flight was the 16th revenue cycle for this brand new bird!

American's A321NX is outfitted with 196 seats. There are 20 first class seats in a 2-2 configuration (5 rows). There are 47 Main Cabin Extra seats that are spread out amongst various rows throughout the cabin (rows 8-11, 17, 18-21DEF, 27, and 28ABC). The rest of the cabin is fitted with 129 Main Cabin Seats. Note that the Main Cabin Extra Seats have a red stripe around the entire headrest. All seats are fitted with a phone/tablet stand, USB port on the seatback, and an AC power outlet. Despite American's removal of IFE screens and the new slimline seat product, I found the seat to be surprisingly comfortable on my 2 hour flight to Dallas. Let me know your thoughts about this new seating product in the comments below!
