Kalam darchi fort was named after a naked saint and was built by British soldier. Started in 1892 and completed in 1932-33 to keep an eye on the invasion and inflow of people from China through Wakan corridor. Its the northern most part of Pakistan. KD fort is 6 KM away from Misgar Village. Old Silk route passed through this village ( Misgar ). Misgar is 26 KM away from Sost village ( KKH ) Karakoram highway. Its near Pak - China border
