Holy shit what a great star, this was really fun to play.
I found a lot of good strats over time, honestly a very rewarding feeling to finally get the star.
Took 37 hours, spanning two and a half months, because my motivation to play mario kept disappearing :(
Some standout strats that im proud of:
2:35, 4:09: get as little dpad as possible, that makes a huge difference for the consistency of these jumps
3:47: if mario's arms have this pose, then youre on the best frame, diving on one of the next two frames will work guaranteed
10:55: nice skip that skips climbing to the other part of the stage
11:32: mario cam to get the camera to follow mario instead of being far away
15:00: triplejump for extra height to not have to deal with running over the small slope
15:57: hugging the corner so i cant falseledgegrab and get a maximum height wallkick to always get a ledgegrab (amsix got collisioned here)
17:40: ledgegrabbing here again is a safe way to bait down the heave-ho
