Deep underground & accessed by climbing cliffs, navigating through & over slippery weed covered rocks & boulders, and also a bit of paddling, (Sometimes over the waist). It goes without saying that this is a very dangerous place to attempt to get to.
Loose rocks sometimes crumble away from the cliff above and crash into the sea near you too..
There is a rock collapse at the entrance, and once inside there are areas where the tunnels have started to crumble..(They've been here since 1887.)
The tide also often seems to ignore the timetable...
After all the excessive rain (Winter 2013 / 2014) there's the possibility that the area is even more unstable....
PLEASE NOTE...
This area is dangerous, injury is easy, and worse is possible..
