八月初我通过压枝和掐苞的方式，想要刺激藤本马奈长新笋。一个多月过去，如愿长出了两根粗壮的新枝，比之前的枝条都更强健。秋季继续生长中，明年春天有望迎来更多花朵。
In early August, I bent branches and pinched buds to encourage new canes on my climbing rose ‘Edouard Manet’. After just over a month, two strong new shoots have emerged, thicker than any before. They’re still growing this fall and should bring more blooms next spring.
