Avoid caked cement bag. Using cake or lumped cement will weaken your structure because it will not gain strength as expected when mixed in concrete or mortar. Impurities like sand or organic matter, reduce cement quality. Always check for them as soon as a new cement bag is open. The texture must be small, rub a small amount between your finger, if it feels rough, it is slightly compromised.

Check the weight of every bag. The standard weight is 50 kilograms with a tolerance of plus three or minus three kilograms.
