While it was released on the PlayStation as a launch title, it did see a multi-platform release, as it also made its way to PC and, in this case, SEGA Saturn. The Saturn version was handled by Perfect Entertainment, the same studio behind the Discworld trilogy. After their work on the PAL exclusive Discworld Noir, Perfect Entertainment engaged in a legal dispute with the publisher Psygnosis over unpaid royalties and fees. The costly procedures and arguments on board level eventually led to the company's disintegration shortly thereafter.
