Lu County in Sichuan was formerly known as Jiangyang. It has a history of more than 2,100 years since it was established as a county in the 6th year of Jianyuan in the Western Han Dynasty (135 BC). Lu County was called Luzhou during the Qing Dynasty. More than 160 Song Dynasty tombs have been unearthed in Lu County, with more than 500 of them exposed. It is the most densely populated group of Song Dynasty stone chamber tombs discovered in China so far. The stone carvings in Song Dynasty tombs can be roughly divided into categories such as deities, auspicious signs, warriors, daily life, door opening, and music and dance. They are known as the "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" buried underground.
