🚕 TRANSPORTATION:
During our time in Vietnam, we relied on Grab for the vast majority of our transportation needs. It was incredibly convenient and reliable. On one occasion, we manually hailed a taxi, and as expected, the driver attempted to charge us more than double the typical fare. After some negotiation, he agreed to reduce the price by half, but the experience reinforced our belief that Grab is not only the safest but also likely the most cost-effective way to get around in Vietnam.

Google Maps worked incredibly well in Vietnam. We used it a lot while walking around Hanoi. However, we did encounter instances of 'fake' map entries, where some business owners attempted to mislead tourists by posing as popular destinations they were not.
