The forecast expected rain on one day out of four but it turned out to be quite a bit wetter than that. And whenever we would comment on the clearing weather, it would rumble and a new front would get us drenched.
Despite the pretty miserable weather we really enjoyed the walk with its diverse landscape and vegetation, and plenty of Weka and Fantail entertaining us.
