Melanie Adele Martinez (born April 28, 1995 in Baldwin, New York) is an American singer, songwriter, and photographer of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent. She was a member of Team Adam in the third season of the American television vocal talent show The Voice. On April 22, 2014, she released the lead single "Dollhouse," from her debut EP Dollhouse.
