ABOUT US: Sing out Strong is the world's biggest mental health choir!
Launched just before the global pandemic, SOS has gone on to support thousands of people, from 100+ countries around the world, with its musical projects and mental health resources.
In 2020, and with the blessing of composer Kimberley Rew, we were honoured to put together our virtual choir video for "Love Shine a Light". Originally written for the Eurovision Song Contest, and performed by Katrina and the Waves (who won!), we chose this song for its beautiful message of sending light around the world at this unprecedented, dark time.
It is fitting that the song was originally written in aid of the Samaritans, here in the UK, and SOS was honoured to be able to record the piece, in memory of all those we lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.
