The first days of settling in Norway have passed and we still believe this was the best choice we could make. The harmony with nature, the peace, the quietness and wow... The sunrises each morning are magnificent.
Winter is coming and if we may believe ChatGPT, it's gonna be a cold cold winter. We need firewood in order to warm the house. This is what I wanted right? Heating a house old fashioned. It requires more input than turning on your central heating by pressing a button. I love it.
Now it's necessary to get a job. That was more easy in my believe than in reality. When we have a job we can apply for a D number. With a D number we're allowed to stay in Norway. Another benefit: it gets you money. And money we need for firewood. In firewood is what we need to avoid freezing to death. Kinda handy, isn't it?
