In this video I demo how easy it is to get started using oil paint, by pushing it around to create cool and interesting painterly marks! I experiment with items easily found around the house such as old kitchen utensils and wood graining tools to finish the work off.. I thin my paint with Winsor & Newton 'Liquin' medium to make it more fluid, so it flows better. With the use of palette knives I try to create almost X-Ray, ‘negative’ like paint marks.
