Daniel Sentacruz Ensemble was an Italian pop group active during the 1970s and early 1980s. Their music blended elements of pop, disco, and orchestral arrangements, creating a signature melodic and atmospheric sound. They gained widespread recognition in 1976 when they participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Linda Bella Linda", which became a major hit, reaching number three on the Italian charts. Despite their early success, the band struggled to maintain their momentum. As musical trends evolved, the group's popularity declined, and they eventually disbanded in 1980.
Spotlight was a music program for young people that was broadcast by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) between 1968 and 1978. It was the equivalent of the Beat Club or Musikladen in Germany.
