Viewer Mail: The Hot Dog Steals The Show | David Letterman

From Dave's NBC days, I remember a bit he did but not all the details. I wanna say it was a viewer mail thing but I'm not sure. I think Paul & the band started playing "Stars & Stripes Forever" or something like that, and it morphed into a huge production number with folks in costumes dancing around and fireworks going off. Then at the end, Paul questioned why there was a guy in a hotdog costume, and Dave said he thought that was Paul's idea, then the hotdog guy panicked and rushed out of the studio with cops chasing him yelling "HALT HOT DOG." I laughed my ass of at that and would love to see it again. Can you find that clip?
