“Sampling Rocks” è il primo episodio della miniserie SHARING MINDS che racconta che cosa significa fare Scienza Aperta nello studio della Terra.

Il programma Transnational e National Access (TNA-NOA) è parte del progetto MEET (Monitoring Earth's Evolution and Tectonics), sostenuto dal PNRR, Next Generation EU dell'Unione Europea e dal Ministero per l'Università e la Ricerca e apre le porte dei Laboratori della rete ILGE (Integrated Laboratories for Geosciences and Environment) a ricercatori e ricercatrici provenienti da varie parti d’Europa e del mondo.

Studentesse, ricercatori e professori hanno l’opportunità di ricevere supporto scientifico, finanziario e logistico per svolgere la propria attività di ricerca presso laboratori italiani all’avanguardia nelle Scienze della Terra.

La rete ILGE coinvolge quattro importanti istituzioni italiane: l’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), l’Università “Roma Tre” (UniRomaTre), il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) e l’Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS)

Il primo episodio è ambientato tra l’Etna e il Laboratorio di Sedimentologia della sezione INGV di Catania- Osservatorio Etneo.

“Sampling Rocks” is the first episode of the miniseries SHARING MINDS that shows what is Open Science in geosciences.

The Transnational and National Access (TNA-NOA) program is part of the MEET project (Monitoring Earth's Evolution and Tectonics), supported by the PNRR, Next Generation EU of the European Union and the Italian Ministry for University and Research. MEET opens the doors of the laboratories of the Integrated Laboratories for Geosciences and Environment (ILGE network) to researchers from various parts of the world.

Students and researchers have the opportunity to receive scientific, financial and logistical support to carry out their research within italian cutting-edge laboratories for the study of Earth Sciences.

The ILGE network involves four important Italian institutions: the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the University “Roma Tre” (UniRomaTre), the National Research Council (CNR) and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS)

The first episode is set between Etna and the Sedimentology Laboratory of the INGV section of Catania-Etna Observatory.
