This New Extinct Whale Was Thought to Have Been Bigger Than a Blue Whale

Perucetus was published and described on August 2nd, 2023 and is the largest fossil vertebrate discovered to date. In this video filled with beautiful and fun animations, we will learn more about this animal's discovery, wild size estimates, and what it's role in the prehistoric ocean's ecosystems may have been.
