RBC has brought back their popular iPad offer for 2025. You can get a new iPad in the colour of your choice when you switch to RBC. Note that this RBC free iPad 2025 offer ends on November 3rd, 2025​. In order to qualify for this RBC iPad offer, you need to first open an eligible RBC bank account by November 3rd, 2025, and then complete two of the following requirements by February 13th, 2025:
1. Set up your payroll or pension as a direct deposit into your RBC account
2. Make two pre-authorized monthly payments with your new RBC account
3. Make two bill payments to a service provider​ with your RBC checking account

When opening your RBC account, you have 2 accounts to choose from, and those are the RBC Signature No Limit Banking account, and the RBC VIP Banking account.

The RBC Signature No Limit Banking account has a monthly fee of $17. It includes unlimited tap, swipe, and debit transactions in Canada, unlimited free e-transfers, and a waived overdraft protection fee. It also offers free RBC ATM usage and up to 3 free non-RBC ATM usage per month. This account also has no minimum balance requirement.

The RBC VIP Banking account on the other hand has a monthly fee of $30. The VIP account includes unlimited tap, swipe, and debit transactions worldwide, unlimited free e-transfers, no RBC fee to use ATMs worldwide, and up to 2 additional CAD accounts, and 1 USD account without any monthly fees and with unlimited debit transactions​. It should also be mentioned in any RBC bank review that all RBC bank accounts are CDIC-insured for up to $100,000​​.

If you do at least 2 of the 3 qualifying steps, shortly after the 90th day of opening the account, you will receive an email from RBC with a link to a secure website where you can select your new iPad and confirm your shipment details. You will have until March 3rd, 2026 to redeem your offer, after which the offer will expire if you haven’t already redeemed it.

In order to receive your RBC new iPad, you must keep your RBC account open and in good standing until at least November 3rd, 2026. So if you are hesitant about using an RBC account for a long period of time, then that is something to keep in mind.

You can also upgrade you iPad reqard to either an iPad Pro M4 or a Mac Book Air M4 by also funding at least $50,000 into an RBC investment account andholding it until at least November 3rd, 2026. Whereas the regular iPad has a value of $500, the iPad Pro or Mac Book Air have a value of $1,400.
