#fingerpickinfriday! This week I decided to try this Pete Huttlinger arrangement of a Gershwin classic "I got rhythm". I've played this one here and there over the years, but it took a good few hours to get somewhat together, not the easiest arrangement out there!
Pete Huttlinger, for those of you who are not familiar with him, was a great master of fingerstyle guitar and also known for being a sideman for John Denver and others... Unfortunately he passed away couple of years ago, way too young. Luckily I had a chance to see him play and meet him at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention couple of times before that.
Pete's known for his rather ambitious arrangements for solo guitar, there's at least one other from him that I've worked on in the past that I might try record one of these Friday mornings... might take a while though, that one's DIFFICULT! But in the meanwhile, "I Got Rhyhtm", hope you like it!
