CCG VIP luncheon: Drivers of China's Economic Development

On June 7, 2024, the 2nd "CCG VIP Luncheon" on the drivers of China's economic development was held by CCG and Beijing International Club, with Ronnie Chan, Honorary Chair of Hang Lung Group Limited and Chairman Emeritus of the Asia Society; and Li Daokui, professor of economics and director of the Academic Center for Chinese Economic Practice and Thinking at Tsinghua University, as keynote speakers.

The event was presided over by CCG President Dr. Wang Huiyao and gathered nearly 50 Chinese and foreign guests, including foreign ambassadors to China, business advisors, heads of international organizations, Chinese and foreign companies' executives, and internationally renowned media to jointly analyze China and the world's macro-economy, and discuss the driving force of China's economic recovery. The potential opportunities of the Bay Area, the unique roles of Hong Kong and Beijing in China's economy and their links to the international market were also among the issues discussed.
