Multistrada spark plug links - These links confirmed I was not the only one with the problem. If your bike runs rough check the spark plugs. It's a $60 repair to replace them all. When I checked the front plugs one of them made no spark at all. The new ones all worked very well out of the box. I checked them all before putting them in my bike.

The spark plugs I purchased were these:

Researching the seller the plugs were sourced by a company named Sixty out of Sacramento California. Their web site is https://www.sixity.com/. They offer the same price and free shipping from their own web site. I just happened to stumble on them from eBay. Looking at their website I made sure I linked that because they clear focus on these type of machines. I'll be buying more parts from them in the future.
As I was doing research these quotes related to this problem made me laugh:
"Holy hell. What sadist designed this bike!?!?"
"I sincerely hope there is a nice warm spot in Hell for the idiot who decided to put the right side spark plug so close to the frame that you can't get a plug wrench on it!"
Because it's so true. They made no effort to take maintenance into consideration. Even changing the oil is difficult. Don't get me started on the rear brake hydraulics!
I took this bike back to the dealer TWICE complaining of the rough running engine at cruise speed (3000-4000 rpm). The first time was 1 week after I bought it. Both times I was told by the master mechanics there was nothing wrong. He explained that this was just the way the Multistrada runs. They didn't charge me to tell me this, thankfully, but they did essentially told me to "Pound sand, Pal!" The service department there was full of it.
I bought this bike with only 1365 miles from Coleman Power Sports in Falls Church, Virginia (https://wherethepoweris.com/). I won't buy my next bike there. Three times I asked for help repairing this problem and the fuel sensor sending unit problem. All three times I was sent away with no resolution. Something about this is not right. I find their web site name to be a bit ironic in my case because the power may be there but they didn't send it with this bike. They left me to do all this on my own.
My experience at Coleman could have been a lot different. They chose not to be bothered by my issue. Not even offering to take a look at the plugs. They told me there were no codes on the bike and that it was what it was. I would not recommend this company to anyone at this point.
