These V-band flanges are self-sealing, so no additional gasket is needed. They are the only ones on the market with a conical seal at the guide, ensuring the V-band joint is completely sealed. The V-band clamp is compact and cleverly designed, providing a strong clamping connection without the need to overtighten. The locking nut is entirely made of metal, not a nyloc that burns up.
