The Valentyin tank it a British Army Valentine infantry tank , 2,394 British-built tanks and 1,388 Canadian-built tanks were shipped to the Soviet Union.
Taking into account the combat losses of the allies during transportation, the Red Army received 3,332 Valentine tanks of modifications:
. Valentine II with 42mm cannon, AEC engine (131 hp) and additional fuel tank
. Valentine III with a triple tower (crew 4 people)
. Valentine IV (Valentine II) with a GMC diesel engine (138 hp)
. Valentine V (Valentine III) with a GMC diesel engine (138 hp)
. Valentine VII (Canadian Valentine IV) with a cast front piece and 7,62mm Browning machine-guns instead of 7.92 mm BESA machine-guns
. Valentine IX (Valentine V) with a 57mm gun (52 or 45 calibers) in a two-man turret without a coaxial machine gun
. Valentine X (Valentin-IX) with 57mm gun (52 or 45 calibers) and coaxial machine gun, GMC diesel engine (165 hp)
. Valentine Bridgelayer
note:
. tanks with 57mm guns were mostly 52 caliber
. Valentine XI (with 75mm guns) were not supplied
