ADDENDUM ON THE HOLDING IN PAUL V CONSTANCE:
Note that on the facts of the case, the court construed the phrase "the money is as much yours as mine" as a declaration that the beneficial interest over the bank account would be held in EQUAL shares. So Mrs Paul got half a share under the trust, and Mr Constance got half a share as well, which succeeded to Mrs Constance by intestate succession.
