H2 Rich Water - DIY

You have to remortgage your home to pay off most H2 machines. Luckily there's alternatives to making food-grade hydrogen.

Here's an inexpensive H2-Maker hack.

I use magnesium mesh instead of rods for more surface area for the acid to etch to. The thing is to keep the etching AFTER the bottle cap is capped keeping the hydrogen water-locked else you're spinning your tires going nowhere. To do this, put your mesh in the bottle and add boiling water AND THEN add the malic acid (last). This keeps the hydrogen-creation process occurring AFTER capping the bottle. This increases efficiency ten fold or better.

Also the hydrogen process works without having to boil the water and then cooling it. This is not to say hot water doesn't help. It's just wildly overhyped. You can see (and hear) this for yourself by pouring a little room temp water over the malic acid and magnesium mesh and hearing the fizz of the hydrogen process in progress. The key again is to cap the bottle before the process. That's the important factor everyone seems to overlook.

The problem with all methods to achieve "hydrogen water" is the fact that you get three parts per million of actual hydrogen. That's like spitting in the ocean expecting a tsunami. So it's barely accurate assuming 3 parts per million is actually "hydrogen water." It's a joke. So as of this reading, I'm seeking more efficient means.
