How to restore the factory preset patches on the Yamaha DX7

In this video I show step by step of how to restore the DX7 factory patches. These factory patches are some of the most well loved and used sounds of the 1980s so getting them back is key. There are also lots of shared patches on the web so I look forward to exploring those.
The steps to get the dx7 in a state to receive midi data is:
"Function"
"8"
This will display the midi channel. This needs to be set to 1, from the data slider.
"8"
This should show that sysex is not available,
Pressing "yes" turns this to allows sysex.
Next we need to turn of the internal memory protection,
"internal"
This will show that protection is on,
"No" will turn this off.
This sets the piano in the correct state to receive data.
