SENTINEL from Germany is Europes topnotch Dancehall & Reggae Soundsystem for this Summers Festival Season again! On July 7, 2012 they totally mashed up the place at SUMMERJAM FESTIVAL in Cologne Germany (which is one of Europe´s biggest Dancehall & Reggae Festivals) at the open-air DANCEHALL ARENA in front of 8000 Fans with their unique euro-style blend of Dancehallreggae, Soca and Hip Hop Classics. Since 2001 SENTINEL SOUND has been an essential part of the saturday night on SUMMERJAM Festival and thus very successful in establishing an underground "Dancehall Scene" within the mainstream music culture in Europe. They also performed numerous times on all other important Summer Festivals within Europe, but also juggling- or clashwise in Japan, Israel, Jamaika, USA, Bermuda, Trinidad, Russia, Canada and many other countries.
SENTINEL from Stuttgart, Germany, founded in 1999, first enjoyed international fame after winning the I&C World Clash 2005 in Brooklyn. Until today, no other soundsystem from mainland-europe has been able to draw level with this success. They have been awarded „SOUND OF THE YEAR" by the readers of Germany´s RIDDIM Magazine three times already and are the current holders of this title. The „everlasting sound" has also been promoting dances, events and festivals throughout its 13-year old career and thus has always been offering a platform to many jamaican artists or sounds on the european market.
