This video captures the unseen visuals of Edamalakudy panchayat and Muthuvan tribes, the only tribes inhabiting the panchayath. The people of Edamalakudy welcomed the doctor and her team with open arms treating them like family. The beautiful visuals, elegant presentation, and fluid narration captivate the audience till the end. This video also with ease and clarity educates about Tuberculosis(TB), one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world. This video is the first of its kind at the national level about Edamalakudy and is an innovative attempt at creating awareness about TB among tribes and the general public. Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization (ACSM) are key components in the attempt to reduce stigma and discrimination.
